Mandal BedArmandoMe and my wife went to IKEA and this bed fit or needs wasn’t that hard to put together and it is amazing. We love it, especially the drawers.5
Great bedElenaLooks exactly like on the picture. Good quality too5
Drawers don’t fit, Vague assembly instructionsAnonymous reviewerOne drawer is sticky, another won’t open, the last two won’t slide in at all. I had to puzzle piece this bed together as the instructions are very vague.1
Difficult to assembleJenniferNot sure it was worth the money. Poor instructions and the sales person failed to add the mattress which caused great stress.3
SurpriseSharonThe 4 large storage drawers was a great surprise. I was not so excited to learn that the headboard is designed to hang on the wall.4
Solid materials and craftsmanshipKenWe like the new bed frame and it’s style looks good5
Well made bedSitanshuWe have this bed since 2012 and it is still going strong. Drawers have plenty of space. It was not available for a while at ikea but I see it is back. No complaints. 5
Worth the moneyJessicaI just built this a week ago and I love how this looks/how solid it felt. Only thing is that the drawers on mine stick despite making sure the screws are all laying flat. I have no regrets though4

This is a bit of a mission to assemble but it’s way better than anything else you can get in New Zealand. The beech wood grain is beautiful and it’s incredibly solid

      Material

      What is solid wood?

Solid wood is one of our favorite materials and is part of our Scandinavian heritage. It is also a timeless material with many uses. Regardless of the tree species, it is durable, beautiful and renewable. We strive to use this raw material as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste – and we also invest in facilities and logistics so that we can increase the use of recycled wood.
