Love the styleConstanceI am very pleased with my new Mellgrund bed. Assembly was easy but requires a bit of space to maneuver.
I love that there is room for storage underneath the bed which is one reason I bought it.
I opted for a box spring as opposed to wood slats which raised the hight of the mattress considerably. Which, depending on the thickness of your mattress, is something to take into consideration.
It is sturdy, durable, and looks lovely in my room.
SturdyDawnThe bed was easy to assemble, and once it was put together, it felt very sturdy with no squeaks at all. It also looks great! I was initially worried about both the appearance and durability, but it has turned out to be a fantastic purchase.
Wonderful bed frame RubenFirst bed frame I got form Ikea and it feels comfortable and sturdy but I do have the wood box spring on too but it does feels nice doesn’t creek or squeak at all
Cute bedMaureenExactly what I was looking for. Easy to put together and a great price.
So far, so goodDestinyIt was easy and straightforward to build by myself (5’6 woman). The coating on the metal is durable, one of the side rails got clipped by my ceiling fan and the coating stayed on. The hardest part about building it is putting your mattress on, especially if you’re just one person. Have officially slept on it for one night, no squeaking thus far, but I am a 160lb woman, so YMMV. The center support beam comes in the box, so don’t buy an extra one, you’ll just have to return it. Love this bed because it reminds me of the Leirvik, but it seems like it won’t have the issues that bed did. I think it looks better than the Leirvik!
