Excellent lamp, quality, good weight, stable, better in personKelly P.This is a great lamp. One of the Ikea true values of good design, good materials. The brass/gold finish is more moderate than reflected--it's not a super shiny brass, which I worried about when ordering online. It is great for using to up or corner light, as a down light, to swing the arm around for reading in a chair or bed, or, to even put on a vanity and shine straight on your face for putting on makeup when it's dark out. Loved it so much we got them for bedside lamps (some white, some black (also a great combo), a floor lamp, + one for my vanity. Some Ikea lamps look and feel cheap to me, or aren't very sturdy or stable. These table lamps could pass for Pottery Barn or some Crate and Barrel. Love that they can adjust to a shorter distance/longer distance from the midsection joint so it can work as a smaller or larger lamp Sits on a bedside table (such as the Hemnes 2 drawer chest, looks great,, fits okay on the one drawer nightstand , great in family rm too.5

Almost an Easy 5 but...JOHNNY B.I love this lamp! Nice, sleek and just what I was looking for for my desk. Just one little tiny hiccup; zero idea what kind of bulb I need for this! Website says that the bulb is included however, when I picked this up the box says clear as day that the bulb is EXcluded. It wouldn't be such an issue if there was somewhere on the site or in the little "picture pamphlet" that came with it that said more than just "11W Max"...the inside of the lamp says "sbcfl" but last I checked that isn't a type. IKEA Customer Service, you guys got any ideas?4
