HÄRLANDA sofa takes your comfort to a new level with deep pocket spring seat cushions, high resilience foam, and a top layer of polyester fibers that makes them soft to sink into.

Soft, movable back cushions allow you to find a way to sit that feels relaxed and suits you.

The sofa's sections can be combined in different ways to get a size and shape that suits you. If you need a larger sofa, you can add a section or two.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and can be machine washed, while the perfect fit makes it look just as neat as a fixed cover.

You can place the chaise section to the left or right of the sofa, and switch whenever you like.

Storage space under the seat. The lid stays open so you can safely and easily take things in and out.

I love this couch after 1.5 years of owning.Hannah M.Let me start off by saying that we have 3 cats and they DO NOT claw this couch. They’ll claw rugs, carpet, other furniture in the house, but they don’t touch this fabric. It’s amazing. Couch still looks great after a year and a half of owning - everything is plush and the slip covers have held their color despite multiple washings, steam cleanings, etc. Putting it together was a challenge, but I’m a 5’5 woman and did it all on my own - I definitely would recommend getting help, though. I’d buy this couch again in a heartbeat.5
Miserable AssemblyRoberta M.This couch is beautiful and the perfect firmness in my opinion. Nice and big but I will say the chaise portion is much shorter than I anticipated, but that’s my fault really for not fully appreciating the measurements. Still, lovely final product but the assembly process was miserable. MISERABLE! So much so that I vowed this will be the last item I ever purchase from IKEA. I did put it together alone though so that probably made it worse but idk if I could recommend putting it together with a spouse because it might endanger your marriage. I tried to break up with my own self several times throughout the process. The main piece of advice I’d give IKEA is to put some elastic in the everloving covers - at least on the chaise cover if nothing else. Trying to get that piece on had me questioning my understanding of the universe, religion, my existence in general. Miserable, miserable, miserable. But nice couch once it’s done!4
Dream Couch!!Alice H.I was hesitant because of some of the other reviews, but I could not be happier that I bought this couch! It is a great price for the size, it looks and feels high quality, and I personally had no trouble putting it together. I was able to do 90% of the assembly alone (and had no trouble putting all of the covers on) & only needed help for the final step of attaching the chaise to the other portion. To address some of the other reviews: it’s true that you have to disassemble the arm rests if you want to wash the adjacent covers, but I don’t mind that since assembly is easy enough & I only intend to wash the large covers if they get stained. The regular cushions and pillows that I’d wash more often are very easy to remove. Overall, the whole couch is very comfortable, the color is a perfect cream white, the chaise has a TON of storage, and the seats are very deep for extra comfort. I get so many compliments on this couch & it is my favorite couch I’ve owned. Highly recommend!!!5
Multiple cover piecesKissie S.Love the harlanda series. However, when it’s time to wash slip covers you have to disassemble. The best way that I find easiest are to remove arms. Once that’s off, you can begin removing all the covers. Ugh…so many fabric pieces. This is an all day event to wash covers. I’m praying for the farlove to back in stock. I read some where that you can exchange if you’re not pleased. I’m definitely not please. However, fabric, look, sturdy and just beautiful. I chose ikea for the washable slip covers not the hassle!! My heart is broken.2
Worst quality very disappointedGinger M.Very sad I was very excited to purchase this sofa I was in love w the style from the photos not even an hour of using it and it broke from my son getting on it. It seems to be made from particle board where it should be the most sturdy. Very sad now I need to to drive a whole two hours away again to return it w hopes they give me no Issues after all the fuss I went through to purchase1

Harlanda couch and chaiseSandraComing from a couple that has had the Ektorp couch with chaise and also the Ektorp chair for years, the Harlanda series is terrible to put together. So many pieces. The cushions are NOT reversible at all(you can't flip them over) which as a dog owner is very important. The armrests covers have to be put on first as well as the skirting which is seperate. Why it could not of been a whole slipcover, I will never know. It was terrible to put together. You basically have to pull whole couch apart, if you want to wash the slipcovers. With the Ektorp line, that was so easy to do. This is not even close for ease. Worst product we have ever bought from Ikea, have already put together or would return(which the closest Ikea is an hour and a half away. So wish we would still have kept out Ektorp furniture, but sold all to person who bought our home. Would not recommend the Harlanda series at all.1
Great couch - Terrible delivery processJeffreyCouch is a great deal. Delivery was incomplete. One piece missing. Getting that last piece was very problematic. IKEA was not reachable by phone, text, email, chat or smoke signals. A great deal of time was wasted getting the last piece.5
Looks great, feels okayMaineiacWe bought this couch back in June and it took about a month to ship. Not my first piece of Ikea furniture to put together so the install was pretty straight forward. However the sofa seat base is angled so if the arm rests do not go on easily you might have to turn the seat base around like we did. A mark indicating front or back would come in handy on that piece since it's symmetrical. Overall the sofa and the chaise are comfortable, however we have several pillows and one seat cushion that never inflated fully. The couch cushions and pillows come shrink wrapped, while the chaise cushion comes pre-assembled with the pillows stored within the chaise storage compartment. As a result, we have some very puffy and soft pillows, and some pillows that are thin and firm. While we also have 2 out of 3 sofa cushions that are plush and full, one is thin and somewhat hard and uncomfortable to sit on. Instructions say to remove from shrink wrapping and allow 72 hrs. to puff up, which we did. It seems like there are some variance in quality across the pieces. Due to the inconsistency of the pillows and cushions we were going to give 3/5 stars. But including other factors, it seems to outweigh the cons.4
