A bit hard to assemble,JONGMINA bit hard to assemble, I needed to use a mallet. But I'm very satisfied with it!5
the off-gassing is out of controllee t.We got this 6 months ago for a down-sizing parent, and put it together in about 2 hours (a two-person job; not easy, but doable). The off-gassing was overpowering---the worst I have ever witnessed. Orders of magnitude worse than being in a new car. We left windows and doors open, put on fans, etc. Because of weather (hot Arizona summers), we couldn't leave them open for long periods of time, but we kept opening them for a couple of hours in the early morning. Six months later, the off-gassing is STILL the first thing everyone (us included) notices upon entering the apartment. (People enter and immediately start offering tricks for getting rid of the smell; we've tried them all.) For the first few months, I couldn't spend more than 10 minutes in the apartment, because of the overpowering odor. At this point it looks like it will take a year for the off-gassing to finish. (It also picks up lint like crazy, but that is not a big deal; the odor however is unbearable.)2
As soon as I saw it!MelindaI love this sofa; sleek look and it’s pretty comfortable. Unfortunately, I had to hurry into the store because there was only 1 in stock and wasn’t able to purchase it online. Ikea- time for you to start restocking your merchandise or close down. Just about everything is always out if stock.5
