ToysKathrynThese boxes are too small and too dump-out-able to function as storage. But my kids like to stack them and make a building.2
They are well made andDeborahThey are well made and really cute.5
BoxesMaryThese boxes are so neat. Although they do not lock down, there are enough studs to create a locking system with additional bricks.5
IKEA & LegoTonyI thought for sure I would need to build these boxes, a little disappointed4
I like it!JamesA fun addition to my Lego collection.5
Practical and affordableWARRENOrganizing Lego bricks is hard on its own. It's even harder when the kids don't want to use the bins. These are a win-win. Kids can use them to build, then when done just put all bricks into the box. We bought all three sizes, which are all a great value.5
Great boxesYvetteMy grandson loves these boxes. He also has one of the bigger boxes.5
These are so smallMattThese look a lot bigger in the images and are definately for the smallest lego only. I would give it a higher rating but the pictures of the product made me think they were Lot bigger than what they were.3
Perfect for little handsKellyFun boxes for small kits to be stored or while traveling, stacked together or separate.5
Great!TashaJust need to larger boxes to connect them all but they’re never in stock.5
Ikea + Lego = <3CARLAThese are awesome, I hope they keep these in stock and keep collaborating with LEGO. This was the best part of about 2020!!!5

Not good value for moneyDebkumarExpected this to be larger3
Bygglek Lego Storage BoxesSusanI like the concept of these boxes but they are not that functional. With several design changes, they would be fantastic. First problem is that the walls are quite thick which means the interior storage space is rather small compared to the overall size of the box. There are no Lego knobs on the top of the walls, so the lid just fits on loosely. The walls are thick enough for knobs on top, so I don't understand why this feature wasn't added. Without a tight fitting lid, if you happen to drop the box, the lid will come off and the contents will spill. As anyone knows, picking up lots of small Lego blocks off the floor is no fun. Secondly, they don't really stack well because the base of the box isn't designed for flush stacking. They can be stacked, but there is a quarter-inch gap between the lid of the bottom box and the base of the upper box. You can't stack two smaller boxes on a larger box because the base design limits this. You also can't stack them off center to create a more interesting design. I would have made the box base to conform with the Lego System like the box lid so they could stick and click to the Lego studs. This would make a real buildable box that would be more secure and sturdy. Lastly, I wish there were other color choices beside white that match the Lego color palate.3
PerfectDeborahIt was a hit!!!5
Great for mini lego figuresAmadaGreat for mini lego figures5
Bygglek boxesRobertOk, like the different sizes but wish the lid stayed on better3
This set of three boxesGregThis set of three boxes is cute, but all are too small to be useful. They almost take up more volume with the structure of the box than the void for contents. The large size BYGGLEK is more useful. I would test the medium as well, but it was out of stock, and still seems to be OOS everywhere.2
Kiddo Loves Them!CherieWe bought one of each, and our kiddo has had so much fun imagining with them. They're also very useful for bringing a small collection on the go and having something to build on.5
BYGGLEK LEGO® box with lid, set of 3, white

With BYGGLEK we want to make it easier and more fun for builders of all ages to make great creations – and to take breaks. Since no matter how immersed you can get in the colorful building blocks, sometimes you need to eat and sleep. If the latest creation is left on the floor, it can easily get stepped on. In BYGGLEK everything is safe – and easy to continue playing with.

When the LEGO Group saw a storage need for their famous building blocks and contacted Children's IKEA with "Do you want to play?", it was like finding a fun new friend, says designer Andreas Fredriksson. "We have the same view of children's play and that everything is easier when having fun."

The box becomes part of play

We at IKEA have worked with storage and smart organizing for a long time, but here Andreas and the rest of the team added a new dimension. “We wanted to make a box that is part of children’s play and creativity, rather than hiding it away. In BYGGLEK there is lots of room for all kinds of fun”, explains Andreas, showing how you can play both in the box and on the lid, which has the same distinctive studs as the building blocks. "And on the side of the box, we made a recess where you can build a window or decorate – making the box more personalized."

Easy to tidy away – and play with again

The dimensions of all BYGGLEK boxes are adapted for our storage furniture, making them easy to store – and the latest creation can even be displayed on the lid! "Yes, it’s important for children to be able to display and be proud of what they’ve built", says Andreas, who wants it to feel just as easy to take out the box from where it’s being stored and start playing again. “Even if it’s only for a little while before school or bedtime, it's nice if BYGGLEK can contribute to more time for play together."

Function solution

Not just any box

We believe that play makes life at home and the world a little better, and this convinced us to develop BYGGLEK. The idea was to make the storage box a part of play and creativity – instead of hiding it away. When a break is needed, the latest fantastic creation can be admired on the lid of the box. And it’s just as easy to take out the box from where it’s being stored and start building again, even if it’s for a little while before school or bedtime.
