Hard to assemble!Camille H.I have assembled Ikea furniture before: a bedroom set, office furniture with bookshelves and a patio set with four chairs, but this is by far the most impossible piece of furniture to assemble. The holes don't match and its super complicated. Very disappointing. I will most likely return it.1
Stout, but, barely big enough for larger laser printerR. J.Stout frame. Did not have assembly problems noted by others, but still trying to to get lower-drawer latches to "engage" and stay clicked-in. I might just omit the drawer altogether. Frame permits the shelf to go in any position inside the unit if you forgo the drawer.
Really wanted a bit bigger (wider) rolling stand for older Brother color laser printer, convenient to have rollers so one can get to the back of heavy printer for envelope feed, etc. This barely matches footprint at 16-inch width with no room to spare, 18-inch depth is OK. The fit is so close to the edge, I fear pushing the laser an inch and it would topple to the floor - I will have to secure with some kind of side braces to keep it securely centered on the top, or attach a 21-inch-square plywood piece to set the printer on it securely. Wider 24-inch Bekant unit is too tall at 39-inch for the big laser printers.
Would not use this as a chair as illustrated online, note each roller is rated only 44-pounds.4
Snazzy cabinetTaylerI was glad when this came back in stock and a friend was able to pick it up for me. As it matches my fully standing desk. Directions were a little confusing at first, but I was able to put it together properly. Rolls around on LVP nicely and will roll over thin cords with ease.5
Worthless for hanging filesJosephLooks nice, a fine printer stand, but if you want to use the drawer for standard hanging file folders it does not support. Disappointed as this was planned to be the working file area near my desk, now it is just a junk drawer.2
Overcomplicated buildusr1654Some engineers had way too much fun designing this cabinet or IKEA just wants more business for TaskRabbit. This is a cabinet with a drawer, not a mechanical device, it doesn't need to be that complicated. I was lucky that I had over 5 years of experience building lego sets so I was able to build this after 2 hours! On a serious note, this is a beautiful and sturdy cabinet. 3 stars because the cabinet looks beautiful, it's also well built and the drawer mechanism works flawlessly.3
Overpriced. Not for filing. Complicated assembly.Em71451. Did not realize this is not for filing papers - there are no rails, no spots to add them. 2. Very involved assembly. Not exactly hard but took much longer than past Ikea purchases. 3. Pre-drilled holes were missing for one step. 4. Came out of the box with some dings on the front handle. 5. Lock and legs are both extra so for all that, it's still $200+. This will be going back : /2
