Assembly is awfulLeighI have bought and assembled dozens of IKEA products and this was, by far, the worst. The instructions themselves are extremely lacking - the illustrations are not clear/specific enough. But the absolute worst part of this is the placement of the screws that need to be secured with an Allen wrench. For most of them you are stuck turning a half rotation, then replacing the wrench to turn another half rotation. I would highly recommend a ratcheting screwdriver with the right size bits - for your patience and sanity. The end result is fine but I would not have purchased it if I knew what a PITA it was to assemble.
Great Little Storage CartSamanthaI ended up with 2 of these to keep our hamsters' cages on and their food, exercise balls, etc stored underneath. They're super functional and very cute in our kids' playroom. A bit pricey (especially by usual Ikea standards), but otherwise very satisfied.
Bad instructionsDanicaI am doing 3 stars because I still love it and my husband managed to finish putting it together for me. It if it wasnt for him and a video we found on you tube this would not be put together. This would be great if it had labels for the pieces and in the instructions. Literally nothing is labeled on anything. Pieces are all hard to tell apart on the instructions. Please add labels to the pieces with the instructions.

I used to have a regular craft cart but couldn't really utilize the bottom shelves for curriculum and everything didn't fit on the top. This cart is the best kept secret and I can't believe there aren't more homeschool moms talking about it!
Good quality, but now hate Allen wrenchesCourtneyLike others have said, the instructions suck. However I wouldn’t say it’s impossible, just took me long (3 1/2 hours). Now this is my first ikea furniture I have put together myself. I would have probably saved an hour if the parts were labeled for what piece and which side to flip it. Since, I got to the end, just needing to put the shelves in and realized the joints holding the shelf on one side was lower than the other side. So I had to undo 1/4 of my work so I could take off left side and flip it 180 degrees. The thing that took me the longest is all the screws for the allen wrench. Now don’t get me wrong, I love a fully exposed 360 degree space to tighten an Allen wrench. However that was only the case for the two middle holes at the bottom of the cart. Everything else was in a corner or had a piece already attached. So having to keep on turning then taking it out then turning again was a pain the rump. I mean literally, it felt like I did glute day yesterday. But quality? Great.

Great piece, horrendous instructionsNoelleThis piece is tragically sitting on the floor in partially assembled pieces as I write this review. IKEA, these are genuinely the worst instructions you have ever had the misfortune of writing and actually sending to print.
The first 12 steps are a series of nearly indistinguishable white boards, differentiated only by their very specific configuration of pre drilled holes. After assembling and disassembling it several times, I finally completed steps 1-12. At step 24, I realized the shelf holes didn’t line up and I had to take it apart. Again.
Seriously, IKEA, I love this piece of furniture but I’m giving it one star solely due to the tragically unhelpful instructions. Literally all you had to do was add a sticker on some of the boards to indicate which piece to use.
I have enjoyed building many IKEA pieces over the years. This is the first and only one that made me want to file a lawsuit for pain and suffering. IKEA, be better. I know you can do it.
Perfect for craft storageAshleyThis small cart fits my crafting tools perfectly! I did have slight trouble assembling it but I was able to figure it out. I only wish it came with more hooks or if there was a line of attachments that worked with the cart.

Outstanding Storage Unit for ChildrenAndreThis cart is very useful, stylish, and easily accessible for our toddler that can adapt to their growing needs over time. I see some reviews complaining about the complexity with assembly - my suggestion is to work with another person when building the unit. Having this in our home offers structure and organizational practice for our toddler to put books, supplies, and play materials in a designated location. They took to it right away and can even safely move it themselves if needed because it is on wheels. I highly recommend this storage unit.

A journey to put togetherHeatherThis is a great little homeschool cart and exactly what I wanted, but let me tell you the adventure it took putting this together.
Of the 26 step instructions, you start of in a confused state of white boards, never truly sure if you're using the correct piece.
After deciding that you're probably good, you're left with steps that leave your boards being held together by hopes and prayers. Never have I been as frustrated with Ikea instructions as I was using my hands and feet to hold together the boards of infuriation. Step 11 is when you finally -FINALY- use a screw to secure 2 of the 7 boards, but it is not until step 15 when you feel like you can finally breath a sigh of relief.
Just when you think the frustration is no more, step 18-20 hit you in the face like a hydra growing extra heads after you have just slain the beast. Using my toes to hold the pieces together, the monster was at long last slain and put together. Quest complete

Great piece - horrendous instructions. SaliPiece is exactly what I need as a stand for a card weaving loom. But in nearly 25 years of building IKEA, I’ve never seen such horrible instructions.
Not compatible with any storage binsPatriciaI liked this until I realized that none of the storage bins available anywhere will fit inside the cubbies. I even checked Target and dollar tree and everything is either way too small or just too big. Width of the cubbies is 9” while most bins offered by ikea or other stores are at least 9 1/2” wide. They are also kind of deep, so it would be nice to be able to use a bin to utilize the entire space. It’s sturdy and holds quite a lot otherwise. Really pay attention to the instructions. I installed one piece wrong side up and had to drill extra holes to make it work (other option was to take the whole thing apart when I was at the last step of the building process).
adore this cart for my office!RobinAMAZING find, hope they come out with accessories for the metal part. for now i'm using magnets to hold notes on it. it's the perfect size to hold all my office supplies in a very visible, ADHD proof way.

Overall, a very useful cartJeremyI was hesitant to purchase given the higher price tag relative to the other carts that Ikea sells. However, this one looks nicer and seems more sturdy - and the price still beats many non-Ikea competitors. My only complaints are that it’s definitely on the small size, making it more difficult to fully utilize with more standard sized organizational pull outs containers (e.g. magazine holders, pencil boxes, etc.) and a having another color option or two to pick from would have been nice.
Nice Cart for My 3d PrinterMathewI bought this cart to set my 3d printer and materials on and be able to wheel it around my office easily. The cart itself feels very solid and accomplishes exactly what I need it to do once fully built. I also appreciate the fact that the instructions show how you can mirror the build process to have the shelve openings on different sides.
The building process, however, was hands down the worst I've ever experienced in an Ikea product. None of the cart parts are labeled which means you have to eyeball or outright guess which part of the shelf you're handling/needing for each step. Also, all the hardware and dowels all come in the same bag which makes reaching for a specific screw pointlessly tedious. This is such a bizarre miss from Ikea as they commonly label parts and hardware individually for every other piece of furniture in their catalog.
Overall I'm satisfied with the cart. All Ikea needs to do is correct the needlessly tedious building instructions and it would be perfect.
