How to care for your Chinese New Year plants

Pussy willow

Best recommended to place in semi-shaded areas. If placed in vases, change the fresh water every 3 - 4 days. Avoid trimming as it can cause congestion; thin out the stems instead.

Kalanchoe

Thrives well indoors and prefers indirect sunlight. Delicate and sensitive, water only when the soil feels dry. Avoid water contact with flowers. Keep out of reach from pets.

Lucky Bamboo

Place in an area with indirect sunlight. You may also consider a bright room to increase its longevity. For good luck, lucky bamboos can be placed on the east or south-east side of the house. Ensure containers have good drainage, and water the soil when the top inch is dry (est. every four days). Keep away from pets.
