Can I return a product to the store?

If you made a purchase at IKEA Portugal, online or in-store, you can return the product to any of our IKEA stores in Portugal (except Planning Studios).

Please note that in IKEA stores in Portugal you can only return IKEA products purchased in Portugal. Find the store nearest IKEA.
Prepare your return online and save valuable time in the store
To save time in the store and skip the regular queue, start your return online using the Express return option. This is how it works:
  1. Open the Express Returns form.
  2. Add your invoice/order number details. You must have the invoice/proof of purchase available when creating the return.
    If you don't have it, you can find it through your Purchase History if you're an IKEA Family member.
  3. Indicate the products you want to return.
  4. Fill in all the requested information. For example, you will have to choose the reason for the return.
  5. Submit the form when everything is complete.
  6. Receive the barcode of your return. It will be sent by SMS and email.
  7. Visit an IKEA store (does not include planning studios) within 14 days. Once you get there, you will find a specific queue for customers who have created an express return.

    Please note that if you do not prepare your return online before going to the store, you will have to bring your receipt/proof of purchase together with the product.
