What is IKEA's returns policy?

Your satisfaction with your purchase at IKEA is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied or have simply changed your mind, you can return your products within 365 days. IKEA will make a full refund of items returned with proof of purchase during this period.

You can return or exchange products purchased at IKEA stores in Portugal or through online shopping on the IKEA website. You can also return a product even if it has been opened or assembled. We do not require the original packaging.
If you want to exchange an item, you should first return it and then make a new purchase.
We cannot accept returns of products showing visible signs of use, nor personalized or custom-made products (such as stone countertops), mattresses that are not in their original selling condition, gift cards, unpackaged food products and live plants.
Products must be in resalable condition. They cannot show obvious damage, stains or marks. Once we confirm that the items can be resold, we will issue a full refund.
Important: Products cannot be modified. Drilling, painting or removing parts during use affect the original functioning of the product and may compromise its structure, so these modifications void the warranty.
