What is IKEA's returns policy?

Your satisfaction with your purchase at IKEA is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied or have simply changed your mind, you can return your products within 365 days. With proof of purchase and if the return conditions are met, IKEA will refund the full amount.

You can only return or exchange products purchased in IKEA Portugal stores, through remote shopping or on the IKEA Portugal website. If you bought your IKEA products in another country, unfortunately it is not possible to return them in Portugal. Don't worry if you've already opened or assembled the product – you can still return it. It also doesn't need the original packaging.
If you want to exchange an item, simply return it first and then make a new purchase.
You can return or exchange all IKEA products, except custom-made kitchen countertops, mattresses that are not in their original selling condition and unpackaged food products.
IKEA will make a full refund after a review and provided that it is reasonably satisfied that the products have been returned in resalable condition. You may not make any modifications to the product. Any changes made, such as drilling, painting, or removing parts during use, void the warranty as the product no longer functions as designed and structural integrity may be compromised.
Sofa covers on request have special cancellation conditions. You can only cancel your purchase after refusal to deliver it to your door. 
IKEA Portugal does not accept the return of gift cards or unpackaged food products
