Which doors can I choose for a PLATSA wardrobe?

Hinged doors
The hinged doors for PLATSA are sold without the corresponding HJÄLPA hinges. How many hinges you need differs per door size. Have you designed your wardrobe in the PLATSA planner? Then the planner will automatically add the correct number of hinges.

HJÄLPA hinges are sold individually. In the table below you can see how many hinges you'll need per door.

Handles
With handles you can give your PLATSA wardrobe an extra personal touch. You can find the full range of handles and knobs on our website.

We advise you to use the FIXA drill template if you are going to mount handles. The template helps you to position the holes correctly.
 

Sliding doors
The LARKOLLEN sliding doors were specifically designed to fit PLATSA wardrobes in different sizes. They don't only look nice, but are also useful if the space in front of your closet is limited. A LARKOLLEN sliding door set consists of three different products from the LARKOLLEN series:

• felt panels (60 or 80 cm wide)
• rails
• handles

How many you'll need depends on the size of your wardrobe.

Tip: plan your wardrobe in our online PLATSA planner. Then the planner automatically adds the the necessary products in the correct quantities to your design.

The felt LARKOLLEN door panels are 240 cm tall, but they can easily be cut to a smaller size. Do you instead want a wardrobe that is over 240 cm tall? Then you can add several sliding doors above one another, or perhaps combine them with hinged doors, or open wardrobe elements.

UTRUSTA push opener
We do not recommend UTRUSTA push openers for our PAX and PLATSA series. These have been tested for the METOD series and are unfortunately not suitable for our wardrobes. Using the UTRUSTA push openers on items they are not intended for may void the warranty on your item.
