Which parts belong to a PAX wardrobe?
The PAX system is very flexible and can be designed according to your own wishes. The PAX system consists of wardrobe frames, and various interior fittings to organize your wardrobe, such as drawers and baskets.
Overview of all PAX components
A good overview of all options for PAX can be found in our online PAX planner. There you can see the different base elements, doors, and interiors we have for PAX.
Base elements
These are the wardrobe frames without interior fittings or doors (i.e., a top and bottom, sides, and back panel).
The base elements are available in the following sizes:
- Width: 50 cm, 75 cm, and 100 cm
- Height: 201 cm and 236 cm
- Depth: 35* cm and 58 cm
* The 35 cm deep wardrobe elements are only available in white and (while stocks last) dark gray.
Combine base elements to create a wardrobe with a size that best fits your space.
Base elements are available in four colors:
- White
- White stained oak effect
- Dark gray**
- Gray beige
** The dark gray elements of 35 cm deep (and corresponding interior fittings) will be discontinued from April 2025. Keep this in mind when furnishing an add-on corner unit of 58 cm deep (as the fittings for it are only 35 cm deep). The 58 cm deep version of PAX in dark gray will remain available.
Add-on corner unit
This type of wardrobe element must be combined with a base element of 75 cm or 100 cm wide, to create a corner unit. In our PAX planner, the correct combination is automatically made for you, based on the dimensions you have selected for the corner unit.
Doors (or not)
With the PAX system, you can decide whether you want to create a closed or open wardrobe.
Tips
- Is your wardrobe in a room with sunlight? Doors prevent your clothes from fading.
- Is your wardrobe in a bedroom? Bedrooms tend to get dusty more quickly than other spaces. Doors prevent dust from gathering in your wardrobe.
- Open wardrobe? You can cover unused drill holes for wardrobe fittings with a cover plate (white, gray beige or dark gray)
Wardrobe with doors
You can choose between hinged doors or sliding doors in various colors and styles.
Don't want to attach doors to the wardrobe itself, but still want to place a sliding door to close off your wardrobe or dressing area? Then take a look at our SKYTTA sliding door system. These sliding doors are attached between the floor and ceiling.
Interior fittings
Wardrobe interiors for the PAX series are called KOMPLEMENT.
All rods, drawers, baskets, shelves and more from KOMPLEMENT are specially designed for use in our PAX wardrobes. You can easily organize your wardrobe space with them, so it perfectly suits your clothing and your storage needs.
Good to know:
- The actual dimensions of KOMPLEMENT interior fittings usually differ from the size in the description on our website. We state the size of the base element for which the fitting is suitable in the description. By clicking on 'measurements' on the product page, you can see the exact dimensions.
- In mid-2024, our PAX wardrobe frames were renewed, but their dimensions did not change. Older KOMPLEMENT interiors therefore still fit in the new wardrobes and vice versa.
