The lid creates a vacuum when placed on a container ‒ keeping the food fresh longer and helping the food retain both heat and coolness.
The lid can be used to protect from splatter in the oven and the microwave.
Wash the lid in the dishwasher and use it again and again, as this helps you reduce the amount of plastic and aluminium foil you use.
The container is made of glass, which does not absorb odours or discolour from tomato sauce, etc, so the food container is easy to clean.

It's also the right size for a take away portion. Today we are going green with less shop plastic containers for take away
