      Nice Alternative to Plastic LidsAiniI switched to this bamboo lid after my plastic one broke (the handle snapped). This one feels sturdier and looks nicer. It fits well on the container and seals properly, though it's not airtight like clip-on lids. Just note it's not dishwasher-safe or microwave-friendly. Great for everyday use in the fridge.5
      Color schemeGimWhile this is useful the color needs to be expanded to cater to wider consumers - purchased this color because no choice. Noted some other home kitchen products are also in green color which I am waiting for new color to come out. Any color but green.4

      Very useful. Serves same purpose as the lid but this is so much easier to open. The lock-lock lid over time can get dislodged. This silicone lid is airtight :)

      What is bamboo?

      Strong, flexible and one of the world's fastest growing plants – bamboo has many uses that make it an excellent renewable material. It’s a type of grass and usually grows without the need for fertilizers or irrigation. After being harvested, it grows new shoots that are ready for harvesting after 4-6 years. At IKEA we use bamboo for items like furniture, bathroom decor, baskets and lamps – and we are constantly exploring more areas of use for this versatile material.
