What are the general shipping restrictions and requirements?
Most IKEA products can be shipped, but not to mailboxes, unsafe locations, or addresses outside of Korea. Delivery availability depends on your address, product availability, size and type of product order, and some fragile, oversized, or seasonal items may be limited. To ensure smooth delivery, please provide accurate address information and any relevant entry and exit information when placing your order.
Shipping Accessibility: In order for all delivery services to proceed, sufficient, clear and safe spaces must be secured. Delivery details (e.g. common entrance number, etc.) must be provided at the time of booking. For apartments or multi-storey houses without elevators, delivery to the 3rd floor is possible, and for delivery to additional floors, please apply for ladder service. The ladder truck service costs 90,000 won. They cannot be delivered to mailboxes or unsecured addresses (e.g., unfinished residential areas, commercial sites).
Shippable Items: Most IKEA products can be shipped, but some items are only available in stores. Eligible products include glassware, fragile items such as mirrors, large items, seasonal goods, fresh flowers, Swedish food market products, and products that are difficult to ship due to lack of stock. To check if the item you want to purchase is available for delivery, please check the products page on the IKEA website.
Shipping Availability: IKEA will only ship products purchased in Korea to addresses in Korea. International shipping is not available from IKEA Korea at this time. Delivery is not possible to some island areas. If you want to check your shipping options, you can check the available shipping methods at checkout. IKEA products cannot be moved between stores.
Provide accurate information: Please provide the delivery location and additional information (parking area, restricted access area, building access, etc.) to ensure smooth delivery.
