Disappointing experienceAdityaBought this chair in Apr-2024. Overall easy to transport, assemble. Provides decent comfort for back, lumbar and thighs.
However, within a year of usage both the hand rests have developed cracks which are almost impossible to mend, unless they replace those parts.
For the cost (22k+), I think there are better gaming chairs in the market both from quality as well as comfort and feature perspective.

2. Metal support plate in the front of seat comes into contact with thigh and is not very comfortable.
3. Screw for fastening the head rest did not fit. Had to use a separate screw.

“The idea with STYRSPEL was to design a dedicated chair for gaming – and at the same time take advantage of the extensive home furnishing knowledge that IKEA has. It had to be good-looking yet have all the necessary features and ergonomics needed when a match drags on for hours and hours. The inspiration for the design comes from the wire-frame models often used in 3D computer graphics. I hope that gamers of all ages will love this chair and want to use it for many years."
