Climate and environment
As a global brand meeting many millions of customers around the world every day, in IKEA we have a big climate footprint, and therefore a big responsibility to reduce it, from how we source raw materials and run our operations, through to the products and services we offer our customers.
Climate action
If we are to make the planet a safer and healthier place for generations to come, the world needs effective, organised and innovative action.

We are committed to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 and to reach net zero emissions by 2050.
Zero-emission deliveries by 2028
At IKEA, we have committed to cutting carbon emissions in all stages of our value chain. As a result, Ingka Group – the biggest IKEA franchisee – is aiming for more than 90% of deliveries globally, to be delivered by electric vehicles (EV) or other IKEA zero-emission solutions by 2028.

Every drop counts
Water has become a very precious commodity, and it's up to all of us to look after it and use it properly. Save water every day through awareness and revisiting your habits at home. It won't just benefit the planet and its inhabitants, it will benefit you directly by reducing your bills.
