To help you take care of your wooden outdoor furniture and make it last longer, we have created the TRIXIG series with everything you need for DIY, assembling furniture, and caring for and repairing indoor and outdoor furniture. Use the paint brushes and colourless outdoor wood stain to re-stain wooden outdoor furniture, and the tools to tighten screws every year. This makes sure your outdoor furniture stays beautiful, sturdy and secure.

How to clean and when to re-stain outdoor furniture

All our wooden outdoor furniture is pre-treated, but acacia, eucalyptus and other solid woods require a little care from time to time to prevent cracking and extend their lifetime. Clean wooden furniture with a mild soapy solution and cover it when not in use. We recommend re-staining with colourless TRIXIG outdoor wood stain when raindrops are absorbed instead of forming beads on the surface.

Easy-care material furniture

Aluminium, plastic, plastic rattan and steel are maintenance-free outdoor furniture materials. Just make sure to keep the pieces clean with a mild soapy solution. Cover or store them away at the end of the season in a cool, dry place like a garage, carport or basement – especially plastic and plastic rattan pieces that can crack in freezing temperatures.

Care for parasols

Fold your parasol when not in use. Parasols typically need a thorough cleaning only once a year. Follow the wash label. Remember to protect them from dust, dirt, pollen and rain with the TOSTERÖ cover and store them indoors in a cool, dry place. Ensure it’s dry before covering.

Care for cushions

To extend the life of your outdoor cushions, clean them regularly. Store them away when not in use, preferably in a cool, dry place indoors. A TOSTERÖ storage bag or box will help keep them in shape. Make sure the cushions are completely dry before closing the bag or box.
