Poor quality door frontsAnonymousI have had this kitchen in grey since 2015. Despite what Ikea say, the doors stain and also the coating has been peeling off ( 2 draw fronts and the doors of a corner unit) for the last 12 months. I sent photos to Ikea in February but never received a response!1

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
