3 different looks to redecorate your bedroom on a budget

Feeling at ease in your bedroom is essential for a good night's sleep. Yet achieving that feeling of not wanting to get out of bed and creating one of your favourite areas in the house depends on many factors.

That said, updating your bedroom doesn't have to be complex or expensive. There are plenty of options to radically change the look of your sleeping area: particularly through textiles and small decorative items.

Let's check out 3 options for inexpensive bedroom looks that we hope will inspire you now that spring is here. There's something for everyone... which one would you choose?

Look 1: floral bedroom to welcome spring

If you love bright colours, plants and prints, this could be a great option for your bedroom! The KLIBBGLIM quilt cover is inspired by Japanese kimonos, conveying a wonderful sense of spring and regeneration. It brings even the darkest bedroom to life!

And it's not only beautiful; it's also great for the environment. It's made from 100% sustainably sourced cotton, meaning it's recycled or grown with less water, pesticides and fertilisers, which increases profits for farmers.

We've paired it with pillows in other shades of pink and white, and even with a blue bedspread to create that contrast of complementary colours that will make your bed stand out.

Of course we've added natural and artificial plants to round off this first bedroom look, as well as furniture made from natural materials.

Spring really has taken this room by storm, hasn't it?

Look 2: simplicity, elegance and a touch of fun

If you're more into basic colours and stick to white, black, beige and grey... this look or a combination of both might suit you perfectly! If you fancy updating your bedroom in a quick and super affordable (as well as fun) way, this quilt cover with dozens of hearts in black and white may be the best option. Isn't it perfect? And if that wasn't enough, you can find it for as little as EUR 15.

If you're all for it, why not add a touch of colour with other cushion covers in bright colours, such as yellow, pink or orange. But always in solid finishes – just one print is enough!

Another option is to go for a plain cover in grey like the one we suggest at the end, combining it with cushions in various colours, and even with the printed heart cases.

To finish off this second bedroom look in more subdued colours, don't hesitate to make it cosier with soft rugs, blankets at the foot of the bed or small decorative touches that convey that homely feeling that we all crave, leaving behind the "coldness" that these tones can give off if we don't offset them in some way.

Look 3: pastel colours with a Mediterranean style

Our third and last look reminds us of the spring and summer days on the Mediterranean coast. Pastel tones such as blue take us back to that time, to the cool mornings and the bright sunshine. It's definitely one of our favourite bedroom looks!

To create it, we've used a beautiful quilt cover with a Japanese fan print (did you notice?). We also paired it with a pillow in the same print for one corner of the bedroom next to the window, which invites us to fully relax, enjoying the rays of sunlight shining through the window.

On the other hand, we decided to add strong>furniture and decorations in natural materials, such as the jute fibre of this basket. Did you know that it pairs well with our famous KALLAX shelf unit? Placed under any space, even as a planter cover, it's perfect!

Don't forget that pastel colours, no matter if we're talking about blue, yellow, pink etc., will always find their perfect match in light-coloured natural wood. If you update the look of your bedroom following this premise, you'll have a space filled with peace and harmony that you'll never want to leave.

And that's it! What was your favourite option? If you liked this article and want more ideas for your bedroom, don't hesitate to take a look at this special selection of ideas.
