Creative ideas to decorate all rooms of your home

If you want to change the appearance of your home without having to renovate, you can create a real exhibition in some rooms. Here are some creative ideas for decorating your home, from an inspirational wall next to your desk to garlands made with flowers and plants in the dining room.

Inspiration for desks

Though you may not think so, your desk doesn't have to be dull and can become an outlet for your inspiration. How? Display items that motivate you to keep working and that are aesthetically pleasing on the wall next to your desk.
One really simple idea is to hang clipboards to use as mood boards, which you can update with various images or texts that you like. You could also put up a few shelves for paintings so that your ideas can sit alongside a decorative or special object that you want to be visible while you study or work.
If you want more space, opt for solutions like the  SKÅDIS pegboard, which makes it easier to hang things. Furthermore, because it's white, the visual effect of the objects you put on it will be much more appealing.

Creative freedom in the bedroom.

The walls of your bedroom can become the perfect place to let your creativity run wild. A blank canvas for you to express yourself however you feel, and to hang up whatever you want.
If you're a fashionista, for example, you could use hooks to hang up clothes and accessories that you're thinking of wearing the next day, as if they were a work of art. You can create really attractive combos if you bear in mind the tones and other elements of the space. It's your bedroom, the place in the home that's most you, so don't limit yourself and create an exhibition that you really love.

If you have a dresser in your bedroom, you could also use the top surface to display a collection of attractive objects, like this collection of vases with different designs, but in one single colour.

And since this is a display piece loaded with items, make sure that you consider the tone of the background wall, dresser and the other objects to obtain a balanced result.

Cosy vibes in the kitchen

Kitchen shelves have to be a functional space, but they can also add an aesthetic element that creates a much more beautiful and cosy environment.
To achieve this, use one shelf to display your favourite glass jars containing colourful spices, vases for plants, and chopping boards or trays that you like. Below you could also hang your favourite kitchen cloths.
Ideally you should position everything so that you can easily access it and in a way that is practical, but at the same time, visually appealing

Windows full of life

Get closer to nature by creating natural exhibitions in the windows. All you need is to put some of your favourite plants in hanging pots, like the DRUVFLÄDER. In addition, to complete the effect and make it more attractive, you could also put several plants on the window sill.

The key to this exhibit is to choose pots with a design that matches the window and wall. In this case, because the window is white and rustic, the pots chosen are from a neutral assortment and range from white to brown. Along with this idea, it's best if you choose pots and assemble the set depending on the features of the space where you're going to put your hanging garden.

Use your imagination and create your own little garden in the window, which not only brightens up your view but also that of your neighbours.

Your best memories on display in the living room

Do you have lots of photos and are you always putting off the task of framing them? Set aside a wall in the living room for them. Hang them with or without a frame: you decide. Whatever you choose, set aside a wall that doesn't contain any other items, so you can create a more aesthetic combination. If the background colour is more neutral, even better. It means your photographs will stand out even more.
Why wait? Set aside a visible space to remember the wonderful times you've had with loved ones. And when you have visitors, they'll surely want to take a look at that special bit of your home.

Festivities in the dining room

Are your dining room walls boring? This area of the home is one of the places you enjoy most as a family and where you celebrate many special occasions, so why not consider making some kind of flower garland?
All you need to do is choose your favourite flowers or plants and hang them on string using small pins. Because it's easy to take them off and put them back, you can create different combinations depending on the table presentation or celebration.
Of course, you can use this string to hang other things besides flowers, like birthday decorations or photographs. The idea is that you change this little exhibition as you please.
