Three home makeovers that fit in an IKEA bag

1. Makeovers using textiles

Without a doubt, textiles are some of the simplest and most affordable products that can give your home a makeover. And they fit perfectly in our IKEA bag!

Depending on the room, you can play around with different products to give it that freshly decorated feeling. For the bedroom, for example, there's nothing like new bedding. Why not buy a duvet cover and sheets in seasonal shades or prints, and even get the new duvet you've been looking to change for a while?

Want a touch more than textiles? Purchase some little additional accessories, such as a small spotlight for bedtime reading.  

For your living room or outdoor space (like the terrace), we can certainly use the same technique, so to revamp the style, you can simply play around with cushion covers. It's the most affordable and easiest way to decorate your room with minimal effort. Just make sure that you measure your cushions and add your favourite models to your cart. Oh! And don't forget about other textiles, how about some comfy blankets? 

Whatever you choose, keep in mind at all times the requirements for being eligible for Economical Delivery: the bag must not exceed 25 kg and be within the maximum packaging measurements (78.5 cm x 55 cm x 39 cm). We'll take care of the rest. 

2. Baskets and boxes for creating order and style

Often, even if our home isn't completely unorganised, we are likely to be overwhelmed by the amount of things we end up accumulating. The living room, for example, is an area quite prone to having a lot of things around, whether decorative or not. The best thing to do here is a little Marie Kondo-style cleaning and to only keep the things that are really useful or we have a special appreciation for.

But what happens when we can't get rid of anything else? Our top tip is to deceive the eye using the power of boxes and baskets. This is a perfect item to add to your home decor, as they are really handy for adding some order and style to any room, not to mention how affordable they are.

By hiding any object inside, they help improve the perception of space and make any room look even tidier and more organised. Use them to store your living room blankets or as a perfect hideaway for your vinyl or magazine collection and be amazed at the end result.

And the best thing? Many of them are foldable, so you can add several to your IKEA bag without taking up much space.  

3. Decorative items for the final touch

Small decorative accessories are quite affordable and can create a big change to any room at a small price, this means they are the perfect choice for our online ordering with economical delivery.
