Eight home storage products for under EUR 10

Wish you could keep your home tidier, and dare we say, for longer? Allow us to introduce some of the best products for organising your home in a flash. And all for under EUR 10

1. For organising documents and letters

Our first suggestion is a reinterpretation of an object as simple as a dish rack. And although its natural habitat is the kitchen next to the sink, its structure is perfect for storing and supporting other things, like our documents, letters or notebooks. Doesn't it look like a completely different product now? You can also add clips for each group of papers you put in to prevent them from slipping out if you move them out of place. What do you think?

2. For storing office or school supplies

This is the perfect accessory if you're working in difference places at home and have to move your things from one place to another. For example, if you're working from home and need to set up an impromptu office in the living room, you can carry everything you need in this basket in just one trip. It's also particularly useful for storing the little ones' drawing and painting supplies. Pop a pencil holder or box inside to create different sections and keep it even tidier. This is a dream come true for parents as children can neatly store small bits and bobs away and keep everything in its place with minimal effort.

3. For storing very small objects

No matter how much we procrastinate and try to use Marie Kondo techniques so we don't accumulate unnecessary objects, it's always easy to forget the typical 'bits and bobs' that we don't really know what to do with or where to store them, but that we don't want (or can't) throw away.

So, what is the best solution for storing small items? We recommend something simple but very effective. This box with compartments, for example, is specially designed so that you can group everything in one space, so you don't run the risk of losing anything. Together, but not chaotic. Just how it should be.

If you have small children at home, these boxes will be your best friend for storing small toys with multiple parts, such as puzzles, model trains and tracks. They can even be used for pictures, beads for making bracelets and necklaces, or almost anything you can think of. Although we classify these boxes as 'children's baskets', they're perfectly suitable for adults too. You can use them for tool accessories (such as screws, hooks etc.), office supplies… whatever you need!

4. For keeping your jewellery organised

"Where's that ring that my aunt gave me? Did I leave my earrings on the bedside table?" If these are the sort of questions you usually ask yourself and you don’t have time to look for them, you'll absolutely love this product.

Jewellery or small accessories are another thing that we never manage to store in a practical and effective way. And although in this case a box with compartments like the one above can also do the trick, we have another option that's a little more stylish. This cork tray is the perfect size for organising rings, necklaces and bracelets and keeping them in sight so you never lose them. As it has sections, you can divide your accessories without the danger of them getting tangled. And because it's so pretty, you can leave it on top of your dressing table or store it inside a drawer (even if it's narrow).

5. Get more wardrobe space

And what if we told you that you could fit sixteen hangers in the space of one? Yes, you read that correctly. Our wardrobe storage solutions include a hanger that is simply wonderful. What's so special about a hanger? Well, this is a multiple hanger, meaning that in the same space as one traditional hanger, you can hang and store so much more, sixteen times more, to be precise. What do you think? That's why we love recommending it as a solution to store our entire collection of scarves, shawls, ties or belts inside the wardrobe itself.

6. Space-saving hangers

While we're on the subject of hanging solutions, let's take a look at our sixth top product for storing and organising your things without breaking the bank. Wall hangers are the perfect alternative for harnessing the space offered by the walls in your home. Great in both bathrooms and bedrooms. But is the same model always the right choice? Is there a particular model that's better? We'll introduce you to the three most popular and practical designs in just a moment.

Suction cup hangers

Perfect for spaces or houses where you can't make holes. The design makes it easy to move from one place to another if you're not fully sold on where you want it to go.

Temporary hangers

The last thing we want is home organisation solutions ending up being a hindrance in our day-to-day lives, so what better than foldable hangers so you only use them when you need them. Just got home or want to get your clothes ready for tomorrow? Fold it down. Don't need to hang anything up? Simply close it so you don't get caught on it. It's that simple. .

Door hangers

These are an absolute classic and, ultimately, the most comprehensive for hanging a whole host of items. If your room is a little on the small side, place this right on the door so you can hang your jacket, a scarf, or even several towels if you put this in the bathroom.

7. Design your own storage board

A pegboard can be the perfect solution for organising and storing your things once and for all. Simply choose the combination of accessories that best suit what you want to store (boxes, document elastics, hooks for hanging things etc.).

The idea of a board is very practical for organising almost any room in your home. You can use it to hang tools and paint brushes, as an extra help for your work area, as an alternative to your bedside table, if you don't have space to fit a unit, or even in the bathroom.

8. How to store shoes

The eternal dilemma of how to store all your shoes is finally over thanks to this solution. With a fold-down shoe shelf, you can store many shoes without having to get rid of any or hiding a few pairs in their boxes where they end up being forgotten.

This accessory allows you to create not one, not two but three different levels to store your shoes. Place your taller shoes, like boots and ankle boots, at the top and your other shoes below. On the bottom rung, underneath everything, you can save space for a box where you can keep various laces to match with your shoes, a brush to polish your shoes before putting them away or whichever accessories you like for your shoes.

These are just a few of the many ideas and solutions that we offer so you can organise your home and store your things with minimal effort and without spending a lot. Check out any of these articles for more low-cost tips and alternatives for getting your home in ship shape. Don't miss out!
