A kid’s room to inspire and display creativity
Your children's bedroom is one of the most important places in the house. And the furniture and decoration chosen can help you to promote your creativity in different ways!

Children need a space in which to let their imagination fly, play, paint, read, create. In short: being children. That is why it is so important that your room, no matter how small, can have a space for you to perform these and many other activities. We want you to see with us how to decorate a children's bedroom to encourage creativity with this wonderful example in particular. A tip: look at this room with your child and choose between the two things that you like the most or those that go with your personality. We hope you get many and very good ideas!
Creative play helps better development
Creative play allows children to take full advantage of their potential and imagination, in a world beyond rules and obligations. That's why a good idea is to turn the wall space around your desk into a kind of "landscape" with stimulating and inspiring views so that your little artist can show his paintings and works in progress. Buy some story frames for pictures and choose your favorite drawings to frame. It will make you feel tremendously proud to show them and encourage you to continue doing so. It will motivate you very much!

Essential things in a child's room to encourage creativity
In a child's room there is room for almost everything, especially its thousands of toys. But if you want your child to develop in a creative and free way, do not hesitate to incorporate these elements into your bedroom:
Bookshop: it is fundamental that children count from small with books adapted to their age that help them to show interest in this hobby.
Desktop: it does not matter if the children already go to school or not. The important thing is that they have a space in which to draw, read, sit and play ... The desk is essential in any children's room, even if it is tiny.
Drawing table and many colors: if you have enough space, a drawing table with colors of all kinds and conditions will help you to exploit your most artistic vein.
Slate: either a wall with slate paint or a hanging one, this will help them draw and practice again and again without staining the walls.
Drawings or paintings that they like and others painted by themselves: just as we all like to have the house decorated in a particular way, they can also decide what kind of things they want to see on their walls.
Toys that help your creativity: in IKEA you will find a multitude of toys that will help them develop their intellect, reasoning and creativity.
A music device: what child does not like music? Put a simple device to listen to music in your room if you feel like it.
Order also helps creativity and a better concentration
Does not it happen to you that when you are in your work and everything around you is authentic chaos, your head ends up being just like that? Well, the same thing happens to children: that is why it is very important to offer them different order and storage solutions for children, so that they have everything they need to play or paint. In the same way, they will know where to put things when they finish using them.
Deep storage containers like TROFAST like these are excellent for keeping organized art materials: markers, colored boxes, chalk, large drawing pads ... everything you need to flow creativity!
In this case we chose a combination of open and closed storage for this room, but also shelves and surfaces to place decoration and other smaller materials.
I used the bunk bed as a room divider to make a creative corner. If the room isn’t shared, the lower bunk makes a cosy hang out when you add cushions and throws like a sofa”

In short: create together a space in which to enjoy and enjoy every corner
It is not about creating a playroom inside your child's room: it is about providing furniture, toys and accessories that help make the time spent there fun, entertaining and productive.
The specialists assure that to foment the creativity in the children and to let them express themselves through different forms, obtains that they are more sure of themselves, to increase their self-esteem and socialization.
That's why it's important:
- Play with them
- Let them make mistakes or let them stain!
- Let them express themselves freely: let them tell you what they like and what they do not like.
- Help them discover what they like to do
- Promote your curiosity
- Encourage them to read every day: if they see you doing it, they will imitate you.
We recommend: A baby room made for growing up.
