These Conditions describe the terms applicable to the services and contents offered through the website www.ikea.es as well as all the websites it contains (hereinafter, "the Portal") of which the commercial companies IKEA IBÉRICA S.A- (hereinafter, "The Company") are the joint holders. These merchants offer their services exclusively in the Spanish territory, with the exception of the territories of the autonomous communities of the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, and the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla. Given the above, the Company do not guarantee a satisfactory use of the Portal for users outside the territorial scope mentioned in this paragraph, and expressly decline any responsibility derived therefrom.The use of the Portal on your part implies the unreserved acceptance of all these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use this website. The use of the Portal also requires you to be of legal age and to have sufficient legal privileges under applicable legislation to be bound by these Terms of Use.
When you visit or use the Portal you must do this at all times in a responsible manner and in accordance with current legislation and the rules of good faith, while always respecting the intellectual and industrial property rights owned by the Company, any other commercial company of the IKEA group or any other third party, whether an individual or legal entity.
It is expressly prohibited to use, by any direct or indirect means, any of the contents of the Portal for purposes that are or could be construed as being unlawful, or to perform any action that causes or may cause damage of any kind, or alterations not consented to by the Company, to the Portal or any of its contents.
Notwithstanding the general binding nature of these Terms of Use, there is the possibility that certain services or tools offered on the Portal have special conditions that complement, replace, or render ineffective some or all of these Terms of Use, which will require your express consent and which may, in any case, be consulted before the service is received.
Intellectual and Industrial Property
All intellectual and industrial property rights over the content of the Portal (purely informative examples would include texts, images, logos, logotypes, signs, sounds, video animations, source code, design, navigation structure, databases, etc.), whether they are the property of the Company or are that of other commercial company of the IKEA group, including in this case the Companies that have sufficient rights for their exploitation in any form and especially those of reproduction, distribution, public communication and transformation.Access or use of the Portal by you shall not be considered in any way to be granting rights, authorisations or licenses of any kind by the Company, the rest of the commercial company of the IKEA Group, or by third parties, regarding the content. The reproduction, distribution, public communication and transformation, in any form and of any content subject to intellectual property rights mentioned in this clause is prohibited, unless you have the prior and express written consent of the owner.
Notwithstanding what is stated in the previous paragraph, the IKEA trademark and the IKEA logo are the property of "INTER IKEA SYSTEMS B.V." (a commercial company registered in the Netherlands), and the access or use of the Portal by you does not imply the granting of any right of any nature over them. Its use for commercial purposes or for any other purpose is expressly prohibited.
The Company reserve the right to exercise before the user appropriate legal and extra-judicial actions derived from any action that infringes upon the intellectual and/or industrial property rights existing for the Portal materials and contents, without prejudice to any other actions, whether judicial or extra-judicial, that may be carried out by the other the company of the IKEA Group or other third parties, whether individuals or legal entities, who may be the holders of the said rights, in defence thereof.
IKEA products
The user acknowledges they know that all products sold in IKEA are intended for household use and have been subjected to test methods in accordance with the relevant regulations and standards. The guarantees offered by IKEA on its items cover household use. Some IKEA products have been tested according to professional-public use standards.The user must always make sure that an item marketed by the Company is legally suitable for the use which s/he intends prior to making the purchase..
Product fact sheets are available for consultation in-store and via the Portal for this purpose. IKEA is not responsible, for any claims arising from a use different from that for which the IKEA item is designed.
The Customer acknowledges they are aware that the Company do not have management systems certified in accordance with international standards (ISO9000, ISO 14000, EMAS, SA8000, etc.).
IKEA aims for the IKEA brand itself to be a trustworthy guarantee for its Customers, for both the processes they follow and the items they sell in terms of: quality, safety, environment and corporate responsibility. To do this, it has management systems and internal protocols covering all its processes that are internally audited to ensure that they are carried out correctly in all IKEA units. The manufacture of our products is subject to IKEA standards of quality, environment and corporate responsibility, based on international principles shared by regulations and established under the standards such as those mentioned above. In addition, we have internal auditors who continuously verify its correct implementation in all IKEA suppliers of products and services.
Hyperlink Policies
In the event that you intend to publish a hyperlink to the IKEA website, you shall not imply that IKEA has authorised the hyperlink or that it has approved or authorised the content of the web page which includes the hyperlink, nor make false, inaccurate or offensive statements about IKEA or any of its workers, or include on the same page as the hyperlink any inappropriate, defamatory, illegal, obscene or illegal content, or any other content that in any way breaks the law. You may not create macros ("i-frames") with web pages or IKEA websites.The Company reserve the right to communicate with you if they consider that you have violate the rules established for hyperlinks, as well as to exercise the relevant judicial and extra-judicial actions arising from any behaviour contrary to the provisions of the previous paragraph.
Liability
The Company do not guarantee the correct and lawful use of the website by its users, and, consequently, they decline any type of liability derived from any actions contrary to current legislation, expressly including manifestations of any kind portrayed through applications or tools available at any time in the Portal, that are inappropriate, defamatory, libellous, offensive, racist, obscene, or discriminatory, among others. Similarly, the Company reserve the right to exercise the pertinent judicial and extra-judicial actions, derived from any conduct contrary to the provisions of this paragraph.Except for the limits established in the law, the Company do not assume any liability derived from the following situations that are listed below as examples, but not limited to:

unlawful use that users of the website contents and materials may make in violation of the intellectual and/or industrial property rights of the website contents under the terms established in the section "INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY" of these Terms of Use.
The Company state that they have applied the highest existing security standards so that your use of the Portal is fully secure and satisfactory. However, the Company cannot guarantee the absence of viruses or other elements that could damage or alter a user's computer system (both hardware and software), nor assume any responsibility in the event this occurs. It is your responsibility as a user to have adequate tools for detecting viruses or any other harmful computer element.Amendments to these Conditions.
