Can I return an opened or assembled item?

In order to return your IKEA items, they must be in their original packaging or in perfect condition.

We know that our products make you fall in love, although you don't always get it right the first time. That's why we give you 365 days to make your returns in our stores.

If the item is unpacked, we will refund the amount in the same payment method and we will immediately start looking for another home for it.
If the item is unused, although unpacked or assembled, we will assess whether it is in a condition to give it a second life, in which case we will refund the amount in a return card so you can find another one you like better. This card has no expiration date and is not nominative. You can use it whenever you want, in all our stores and also on our website for online purchases.
Items that are used, deteriorated, broken, stained and/or unhygienic will not be accepted.
If you prefer that we come to your home to pick it up, you can contact our Customer Service to arrange an appointment, remember that our transport service will pick up the items disassembled and packed!  

In order to return the product by the method you have chosen, it is essential to bring the receipt or invoice.
