How do I book assembly service via Taskrabbit on the IKEA website?

If you don't feel like assembling your IKEA products by yourself, our external service partner Taskrabbit is here to help you! Through Taskrabbit, IKEA offer assembly service to all private customers allowing you to save time at an affordable price.

 

Assembling IKEA products should be a fun and hassle-free activity, however we know that sometimes the time and energy are just not there. In those cases, we are happy to offer a smooth and affordable assembly service to our customers through the external company Taskrabbit.

It's super easy to purchase assembly service when purchasing on the IKEA website:

  1. Add the products you want to buy to your shopping bag on IKEA.com.

  2. During check-out, fill in your postal code and check for service availability.

  3. Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions of Taskrabbit.

  4. Book a date and timeslot for delivery of the products and a date for when you want the assembly to take place.

  5. Choose how you want to pay for your order and proceed with the payment. Please note that you pay for both the order and the assembly service through IKEA. 

After you have paid for your order and assembly, you will receive a welcome e-mail and an initial booking confirmation from Taskrabbit. In the booking confirmation, you will find instructions on how to create and activate your Taskrabbit account, which is a mandatory step. This will enable communication between you and the Tasker who will be assigned to assemble your products.
