Nice mood light but poor battery designAnonymous reviewerThe lamp design is nice and it's good for a mood light but the battery design is terrible. The bit that holds the batteries is really cheap and breaks easily. I've had this lamp for a month and when I went to change the batteries, the clip broke, so now I need to duct tape the batteries in or they just fall out.2
Nice mood light RamoThis is a pleasant mood light, the equivalent of a tea light candle on the dinner table. I genuinely don't want it any brighter, as that would make it unpleasant for the purpose (for those complaining about the low light intensity - there are reading lights you can buy; this is not it and was never advertised as such). Mood lights should not be bright and Ikea got it right with this one. The cable is a generic USB-C one, easy to find anywhere, tho I believe the Ikea ones are the cheapest anyway. And if you don't want a cable, just charge batteries in a $5.99 charger from Ikea (I do that - it's easier!). The star off is for the tap on/off: it's annoying and relatively unreliable. I am awaiting to see how long it lasts. Enjoy this nice *mood* light! For now, I recommend it!4

Batteries don't fit???RosittaSo this is my second kick at this can. The first time about six weeks ago, I had them delivered to a pickup spot. My AA rechargeable batteries did not fit into into the slot. So off to ikea in person to buy their brand battery. Big surprise, stillndidnt fit in the slot. Today in the store against my better judgement and with hope that the product had improved, I bought 2 after being assured my AA rechargeable batteries would work. Guess what? Not a hope in he'll they would fit. Another trip to Ikea soon to return them and that's it. I am now permanently disenchanted with this product. 1
