Kallax Drawer UnitsBrendaThese are very easy to put together and look great! Very happy with them!
Brilliant idea for an insertLouiseI didnt know these even existed until i went into the store, but what a fabulous idea! Easy to install and instantly elevates to look of your Kallax unit.
Needs wood glueAngelaThese shelves are a game changer, I recommend changing the handles, but it definitely makes your kallax look and function better, however it’s flimsy if you don't secure the side with the pointy screw it comes with, and the doors can come off if you don’t wood glue it. You dont Need 8, just fill the top half of ur shelf, I find that looks best.
Easy to install and great for storageVivianEasy to install to a Kallax shelf. Works great and has not given me any issues in the last 5 years. You can even customize the nob :)

Easy to installBrendaEasy to install; simple look; great for storage.
Drawer sizeRefoelLooks good and was easy to install. I was a bit disappointed that the drawer doesn't maximize the space and that there is a full inch of wasted space behind the drawer.
Poor Quality and Bad DesignRayI got an 8 section Kallax and intended to put 4 draw units in the bottom. Looking at how you assemble it, the inside cardboard is super cheap, it is so thin it will never line up properly so the drawers are always crooked. I ended up deciding against putting all 4 units in as I realized the inside panels of the Kallax are very skinny and the screws are rather large. If you were to assemble it according to the instructions the screws would have hit eachother and created ugly holes. This is counter intuitive as the image literally shows the draws in the center compartments of the units. I placed the insert in the compartment and measured the distance of of the panel and the cardboard insert and then I measured the included screws and the screws was 2/3 the total length. There was no way that was actually going to work, the screws would have hit eachother and ruined my furniture. I feel like Ikea is going down hill from what I remember it being. I've had issues with many pieces lately.
DrawerTimothyOk but production accuracy should improve better so twerk angle when it suppose to be flush. Probably due to drawer rail strength with soft wood issue
Great set of drawers TracyWorks great in my Kallax Shelf unit to keep my exercise equipment organized. Super easy to install.
nice looking doors and drawersShannoneasy to install
Not quite color matchedBjornEasy enough to put together, should have black hardware available. The white non gloss doesn't match the white non gloss of the kallax unit.
Attractive drawersRitaThese drawers are very attractive. They were relatively easy to put together but very difficult to install into the Kallax unit. I think there should be a notification before you buy it that there are no pre-drilled holes for installation. And the directions indicating that you just screw it in are very deceptive.

Too big for Kallax ShelfKathleenThe Kallax insert unit is an inch or two too wide and tall to fit into the Kallax shelf. Also the material quality in some parts is just cheap cardboard. Additionally, it requires that you already have two screw drivers and a hammer, and takes quiet a bit of muscle and energy to assemble. Overall very unhappy. Measure your Kallax shelf before buying this to make sure it'll fit.
With Gadgets Prolieferating, You Need Drawers!EdmundI bought two of these and liked the way they transform a rather pleasant bookcase into a classier version of itself: drawers with a bit of design flair, if the manner that the drawer assembly is recessed from the face pillars, if mounted according to instructions. Even more satisfying was the utility of the drawers. So please I was, I bought two more. Now I think I want drawers and doors on everything. The cleaner look and improved utility are worth the added expense over a plain bookcase. Be sure to keep the mounting instructions with you and follow them step-by-step.

Material
What is fibreboard?
Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
