It is spacious and gives him enough room to move around. I am extremely please with this bed. My boyfriend assembled and said it was one of the most easiest IKEA products to assemble.5

It was a little hard to assemble though, in fact, one of the sides is not perfectly fitted (a few millimeters) but we weren't willing to start over.5
