Ratings and reviews

I love them , theySAMIAI love them , they fit well and looks great1
GnabbasCarolThey are pretty good for hiding light to medium weight things, and the price point for what you get is good. Wish they had a handle of some sort though4
Exactly what I wantedTaniaExactly what I wanted5
Using for Toy StorageSherryI wanted something for my living room to ‘hide’ some of the toys as they are slowly taking over the whole area. I bought 4 of the square ones and 1 of the more rectangle kind for his mini hockey sticks and a few other longer toys. My 18 month old can pull these out when he wants to play and so far, they seem quite durable. They’ve been great for me!5
Could those who "smell" the sea grass be allergic to grasses?Valerie K.I've not acquired mine yet, but they look chic, so I think I'll try. I've been thinking about the fact that some people seem sensitive to the smell. I bring this up because I know several people who are allergic to grasses--my sister, for instance, who cannot even eat grains because of it. Could this be the issue with some clients? Just throwing it out there. We'll see how I do!5

Great function but terrible smellLaura0009We have been using these for two months. They are fine for storage but the smell is not fading and it's overpowering in a small space. We tried airing them out several times outside but it doesn't reduce the odour.3
Beautiful and practicalI bought these baskets and that is what I was looking for. The perfect baskets for me .5

Storage for StudyDp2020Nice look for the study. Stores all of the stuff you don’t use often but feel the need to keep.4
Not Sure If I Would Buy AgainMUSKOKAKETOGIRLAlthough I love the look. Although I love the price. There is a smell emanating from the grass portion of the 3 out of 3 boxes that often makes my stomach turn. We have these in our master bedroom and I smell them in the middle of the night. It's a 5 hours drive return trip and so a return isn't an option.3
Yoga prop storageGin58I wanted a square basket to complement a round IKEA basket. It holds a decent amount of yoga props/books and actually slides out of the way under an ordinary chair. Noticed a bit of a dried grass-type odor when I first bought it, but it wasn't unpleasant and quickly disappeared.5

What is seagrass?

Sedge (or seagrass) grows naturally in South-East Asian coastal areas. For our products, we mainly use cultivated sedge from field areas that have previously been flooded by the sea, making them unsuitable for rice cultivation. But sedge grows well in salty soils and even helps cleanse them. After harvest, the plant is left to dry in the sun making it a hardwearing fibre ideal for weaving or braiding baskets and mats with beautiful colour variations.
