Most of this 12 cm thick and 3-part mattress comprises of flexible springs protected by soft foam, and it can easily be extended as both your child and the extendable bed grow.

    We recommend LEN fitted sheets made of cotton jersey for your child’s mattress.

    Wash the cover inside out with the zipper closed.

    The short pieces are easily added to the foot of the bed as your child grows.

    This mattress consists of 3 pieces and all come together in the same package.

    The extension parts of the mattress do not have springs since it is primarily shoulders and hips that need pressure relief, not legs.

    LEN fitted sheet is available in 2 sizes: One fits a mattress for an extendable bed without extension parts (97x120 cm) and one fits a mattress for an extendable bed with 1 extension part (97x155 cm).

    Machine wash very hot, normal cycle.

  • The zipper is child-safe since we took away the tab on the zipper. To open and close, insert a paper clip through the loop. Make sure you always remove the paper clip afterwards.

Thin mattress, moves around, doesn’t fit KuraAnonymous reviewerThe mattress is very thin, when my child lies down, I can hear him banging onto the base of the Kura bed underneath. Also, I didn’t try the extendable pieces until past the 90days return policy. Good luck putting 3 pieces into the fitted sheet without it moving around. Lastly, it does not fit well in the Kura bed frame. Parts of the bed frame metal and wood stick out past the mattress and if your kid rolls off then they will get injured. 1

Who would allow this to be sold at IKEA and even more, What happened to the old selection of mattresses from IKEA. Really a waste of time and money. I hope I can return this piece of garbage. I use this as a topper for a single bed fold out chair that is like a rock to sleep on for guests. I like how it is in 3 pieces which helps with storage when not in use .

Material

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

Quality

Flexible springs and soft foam

The longer part of this three-piece, 4¾" thick mattress consists of flexible springs enclosed with soft foam. The construction means that the mattress keeps its shape longer, allows air to circulate and provides comfortable support for your child. The two short parts consist of pressure relieving foam. The cover can be removed and machine washed at 140°F.
