The fabric dims daylight entering the room and reduces glare. It gives a comfortable sense of privacy as people cannot see in. At night, silhouettes can be perceived from outside when the room is lit.

The honeycomb-like cells trap the air and transform it into an insulating barrier between the window and the room, creating a more stable and comfortable indoor climate.

The cord is hidden inside the blind, making it safer if you have children at home.

Can be mounted on the wall or ceiling.

No need to change fittings or drill new holes if you change your blinds. The included wall/ceiling brackets are suitable for HOPPVALS and TRIPPEVALS cellular blinds and SKOGSKLÖVER roller blind

6 out of 9 blinds have brokenMichaelEvery few months one of these break. We bought 9 blinds and 6 are broken. We have different sizes and both sizes are broken. Looking at the broken mechanism, I see there is a thin plastic hook that breaks. This little hook holds a spring - it breaks, then the blind falls to the floor with a bang and the spring pops out on the floor. Hoppvals is not a good product. Cheep parts and not properly tested product that uses a thin plastic I-hook to hold up the blind mechanism.1
Low qualityGaThe product's quality is extremely low. The wires inside the blinds breaks in 5 months after purchase. We don't even touch it more 2 times a day. The design of this product is poor; zero protection on the wires and they wear out in several months. If you want to purchase a decent product for at least last for 1 year, don't buy this thing. Very disappointed.1
Disappointing Finish for the PriceRajithThese blinds are easy to install, but the finishing of the blinds looks like paper. They feel very similar to the SCHOTTIS blinds, which are much cheaper so the HOPPVALS don’t really seem worth the higher price. Also, when you fully close the blinds, the small pleats are not very visible, whereas the SCHOTTIS blinds show more detail in that case.1

These are so neat and smooth! More sturdy than you might think too. I now have them on all my windows AmandaIt might sound funny but I actually look forward to putting up the blinds now! Its actually fun - talk about the little things that bring you joy. My old blind if you didn’t pull the strings just right would come crashing down or some of the fins would twist and let light in. Not these! These are so smooth!!! Im not exaggerating they are my absolute favorite Ikea product.5

I thought I would hate external mounted but once I got the right size, it turned out perfect. Make sure you get big enough to b cover window and frame. Looks great!
