I paid for more items than I bought, what should I do?

If you were charged for more items than you bought, reach out to Customer Support online or in-store, depending on where you made your purchase.

Before reaching out to Customer Support, start by reviewing your receipt to identify the products you paid extra for but did not order or buy. You can then file a claim online or in-store, depending on where you made your purchase.

Go to an IKEA store

If you were charged for extra items in an IKEA store, it’s recommended that you visit the store where the original purchase was made. When you arrive, please go to the Customer Service desk, usually located near the store entrance or exit. Please remember to bring your store receipt with you.
The IKEA co-worker will verify the extra charge and issue a refund to your original payment method for the extra amount you paid.

File a claim online

If you made your purchase online or you can’t come into the store, contact IKEA Support to get help with your claim. When you reach out, please have your purchase receipt or payment confirmation available. If you’re using the chat, you can type ‘talk to an agent’ to get connected to a live agent during opening hours, or call 1-866-866-IKEA (4532).
Once the co-worker has been able to verify the payment error, they will issue a refund to your original payment method for the extra amount you paid.
