How do I choose between different delivery options?

To choose the best delivery option, consider the size and type of your order: Parcel Delivery for smaller items, and Home Delivery for larger or bulky items. If you prefer picking up your items, Click & Collect offers flexibility. For home deliveries, check available timeslots, lead times, and costs based on your postcode and order details.

Consider order size and type:  

  • For smaller, lighter items (decoration, textiles, or accessories) that fall under 23kg, Parcel Delivery will be automatically selected. This is a cost-effective delivery option that allows more flexibility.
  • For larger furniture or bulky orders that might require help carrying and placement in your home, Home Delivery (either 'Doorstep' or 'In-Home') is recommended.

Convenience and scheduling:

  • If you have a flexible schedule and would like to personally pick up your items, Click & Collect gives you the freedom to do so at a nearby IKEA store or Pick-up Location.
  • For home deliveries, note that available timeslots, estimated lead times, and costs will depend on your postal code, order value, and product availability. Always check the estimated delivery date provided at checkout or via your confirmation.
