Divan beds are a popular choice thanks to both their comfort and style. They are made from two parts, a divan bed base and a mattress. Sometimes they can even have more parts such as a mattress topper or separate legs. The divan base is a frame made of wood covered with textile fabric.
Some divan bed bases have a stylish headboard to give your bed and your room a snug look. But really, it’s all up to personal taste. In our wide selection you can choose divan bed bases in different colours, with or without headboards and with or without drawers underneath.
Queen, king size or twin divan beds?
Size matters. At least when it comes to divan beds. The most obvious consideration is how many people are going to sleep in the bed. But that’s not all, how much space does each person need and want? And is there a chance that a bed for one person might have to house two people within a foreseeable future? Remember that our divan beds will be with you for a long long time.

All our divan beds are about 200 cm long, but the widths vary as seen below:
· Single or Twin: 97 cm
· Double or Full size: 135 cm
· Queen size: 152 cm
· King size: 220 cm
Divan bed base – without the mattress
Maybe you’d like to use a specific mattress with your bed? Maybe you’ve fallen in love with one of our comfortable mattresses? Luckily some of our divan bed bases are sold separately so that you can use any mattress you like with it, obviously as long as it fits. In this way you can combine and create the bed you dream of, or at least, will dream in.
