Does the jobRobThese chairs are economical and do the job. I would recommend pairing them with a seat cushion to make them more comfortable, which gives the double benefit of allowing you to match with soft furnishings and quickly wash or cheaply replace when they get dirty. I recommend using a little olive oil on the screws used to hold Stefan together; they're very long and can bind in the timber, but a little lubricant and the chairs go together easily.5

It was only when the chairs were assembled you realised how small each chair was.
Obviously, the absolute minimum was used to construct each chair.
The seat was not generous and the length of the chair legs could have been an an inch or two (2 cm) longer.
A chair cushion is definitely required.3
