TOBIAS
603.496.72A transparent chair that mirrors its surroundings. It picks up the colours of the room and appears to be floating. And because there’s flexibility in the seat, you may feel like you are floating too.

Love it!GayleIt’s exactly what I was looking for. 😊
I’m using it in my bedroom as a chair at the narrow dressing table - smallish space and it is unobtrusive but well suited to the area!
minimal contemporary chairJinMinimal contemporary chair. Nicely paired with other furniture

simple , stylish and comfortableRonIt suits the minimalist dining area style I wanted - easy to assemble provided you look closely at the diagrams fro the securing plates.
GOODAnonymous reviewerThey are good and nice, but from time to time some adjusment is required as the screws come loose
Chair heavenLeoI have admired these chairs for a while but they were outside my budget. When I saw them in 'As is' for near enough half price, I had to have them.
Cracked seat (again)Michael4 out of 8 of mine have cracked down the middle. Just informed Ikea who say they will investigate.
ChairAnonymous reviewerGood quality
Appears satisfactory, but the overall quality is poor.AmyI purchased this chair with the intention of using it for only one year, but it ended up splitting in half.😏
Split down the middle after 2 yearsJayHere I was thinking the Brisbane (AU) water the chairs were cleaned with may have some strange mineral which somehow caused the chair to split straight down the middle of the base. One out of the four chairs purchased.
Checked out the reviews and wow, I'm far from being alone. The chairs look great with our glass top table, and being clear don't make our small apartment look any smaller.
I am taking this back to Ikea at North Lakes for a replacement. Purchased 11 Nov, 2021.

Chair Cracked!Anonymous reviewerAt 5am in the morning. I was woken by a BIG BANG! After investigating, we found a large crack right down the middle of the chair! Hardly gets used. So very sad as I saved up for so long for this chair to look cute in my room… Please read these reviews before purchasing.
Tobias chair splitKathrynWe bought Tobias chairs years ago and they split. Reading reviews it seems the chairs still split
