The wood fibre/plastic composite material gives the chair a textured, matte surface that is soft and inviting to the touch.
Viewed from afar, the wood fibres blend into the surface, up close they become an interesting design feature that catches the eye.

I had read that the finishing was not good on some of the chairs so I was worried. We had one that was a bit rough but not bad enough to return it. They’re comfy, good back height. It's comfortable and sturdy, the kind of chair I feel safe standing on. Assembly was also laughably easy. Even with a higher budget for chairs, I still chose these, and have been quite happy with them.
