Even small steps mean progress
When we switched to water-based lacquer on BUMERANG hanger it wasn’t just the lacquer that had to be changed. The machines, production methods and factory environment had to be changed too. It took some time. But good things come to those who wait. And with the new lacquer, we’re now reducing the effect of the hanger on the ozone layer.

What material is best for coat hangers?
Solid wood hangers are sturdy and are often deemed more premium than their plastic cousins. Our BUMERANG collection offers a range of attractive hangers with strong shoulders for great support to hang shirts and jackets – they also have notches so you can hang dresses, too.

Why do coat hangers have notches?
The notches on the shoulders of some hangers are for hanging dresses and tops using the loops sewn into the shoulders or under the arms. The loops help retain shape and prevent clothes from sliding off the hanger.
