Fantastic Garage ShelvingKarenI was looking for something reasonably priced and sturdy for all my garage shelving. The Hejne was super easy to put together and can sturdy enough to handle the bulky, heavy things I needed to store. I highly recommend this and would use this shelving again!
Best value!!MartaIt baffles me that this unit has less than a five star rating. I think it’s one of the greatest purchases I’ve made, and it’s certainly a GREAT value. Putting it together took a bit of space and time and elbow grease and sweat, but it was completely uncomplicated and exactly what I expected. Best of all, this unit could not possibly look better in my room. I got it for the price but I’d get it again just because I love the look so much. It’s sturdy, I’ve had it for at least a year and a half and it has held up fantastically, and I live in CA where we have a lot of earthquakes but it seems very secure. And it stores so much! If I could ask anything more of it, I might ask for one or two additional shelves just to give more options, but seriously, I don’t have a complaint in the world about this thing. I think it’s GREAT.

Newer versions are a different depth than oldAnonymous reviewerI have an old version of this purchased 9 years ago. I wanted to add 2 new shelves. The new shelves are a full inch shallower than the old ones. I love the shelves but new parts are not interchangeable anymore which is super disappointing since it's sold under the same name.
Flexible shelvingAdamThe kit is easy to assemble. No missing parts. I used it as a shelf unit on top of my work bench-adjusting the top was key to everything fitting. The back bracket is useful if it is free-standing-mine is wedged between the workbench and ceiling-so it should not budge. More adjustable holes along the top and bottom would be helpful
I couldn't be more pleasedMartaHonestly, I'm so surprised to see what a poor overall rating this product has received! Assembling it definitely challenged my physical strength, but I have arthritis and am as a result very weak, so expected nothing less. Ultimately, no bumps in the road; it wasn't complicated at all, just required perseverance. I think the unit is absolutely gorgeous, it's sturdy as heck, and the price absolutely cannot be beat. I don't have a complaint in the world . . . except that my bedroom isn't large enough to accommodate a second one! Seriously. I try to get used items most of the time, but this shelving unit is truly a worthwhile exception to that rule.
Be careful! Hejne items are not all the sameAnonymous reviewerYou'd think that if you tried to buy a 4 section that was 19 deep and they were out of it and then you tried to buy a 3 section that was 19 deep...and they were out of that, that when you went to a product with the exact same name in a 2 section that it would be the SAME thing. You know, same name, same style. So since they had nothing that I wanted I compromised to get something I could use in my studio and when it arrives it's a much shallower shelf. They call the depth 12 1/4 but the shelf is exactly 11 deep. Which is just about useless. NO. So this is going back. And I've wasted about a week of my time.
