Perfect for Laundry RoomCYNTHIAGreat work surface for folding, large baskets can sit two by two on the bottom. Had a little difficulty getting the first leg on by myself. I really needed an extra hand on just that first one.5
Bror Cart is greatCharleneperfect for our workshop! This Bror cart was very easy to assemble and works great for our new space.5
Strong, stable, well designedDARLENEAlthough the top is raw wood, I covered it with foil. Use it so I can cook outdoors with an induction burner. Very well built.5
Veritile BROR systemRobertI appreciate the flexibility of the BROR system. I used the cart as a basis of an entertainment system along with a BROR shelf unit. Please keep this line alive and thriving!5
Used in my kitchen andBECKYUsed in my kitchen and it passed the Thanksgiving test5
Sturdy!!YESENIAI love this cart. Great for doing crafts!5
Bror CartAidasikeaGreat cart for the money! Sturdy, rolls nicely, nice simple design. We have two of these. Since we use ours indoors, I put some polyurethane on the wooden top shelf, just to keep it new looking and easy to clean.5
Looks great, sturdy, pain to assembleDownincnOne of the main legs was partially bent, with the design of it's assembly, there is no margin of error. Over half of the brackets we received were bent.3
Great little cartDanFromBothellSolid utility cart. We bought it with the intention of using it as a coffe bar. Its rugged and sturdy. Looks and feels similar to my utility cart I use in my garage.5
Great for all projectsMiss ShellyEasy to assemble. Perfect height to work on any project. Mine is in the garage for potting plants, painting projects, etc. Shelves hold project materials and it’s easy to roll outside if needed. Might buy another for basement projects too! Clean, modern lines would also look great as a kitchen island....mmmmm...just finish the top or add a larger one.5
Amazing for a coffee bar!AmandaDisMeThis cart is strong and I love the look and utility. I’m using it as a coffee bar and it has perfect storage for my mugs and extra coffee!5
Perfect Fit!kvndilI was looking for a cart with wheels on which to mount a miter saw in my workshop. I came across this cart in the IKEA catalog, and it was perfect! I could not have designed a better fit!5
Perfect for my kitchen!linagirlI bought this utility cart instead of a kitchen cart because it appears durable. I like the wood top for prep work and the shelves are perfect for small appliances and storing hardy vegetables in baskets.5
HiFi Equipment RackC WolffI got this to hold my Home Theater / HiFi devices, it works great for that! I have the middle shelf in the lower position, with all the power and networking eqipment at the bottom and AVR, Blu-ray player etc. in the upper compartment. Two standard A/V devices (17 wide) fit almost next to each other but it's no problem to have them stick out a little. I had considered the workbench, too, which is about the same size, but the casters on this one allow me to roll out the rack to work on the cables in the back, and it's cheaper, too. I made a black felt cover for the top, but the wood would have worked, too. If using it in a kitchen, maybe replace the ply wood (it's screwed in to the frame from the bottom and easily removed) with a thicker chopping surface. Assembly tip: First assemble the cart, but don't tighten the screws. Then go around and tighten all at the end. That way all the screws fit easily into the holes.5
ConfusingRaleighIt was confusing weather you needed to buy top as a separate item. Even asked IKEA staff to clarify and they said I had to buy top extra. Came home and then saw that top was included!!!!! so i spent extra for nothing. Also some holes did not match for the screws3
Alexa1930It works well holding heavy pots.4
Great kitchen islandzwheelBought this to use in our kitchen as an island and it's perfect. Easy to put together and seems sturdy. Going to add a couple hooks to the side to hang towels, etc.. I HIGHLY recommend getting some sort of polyurethane stain or seal to put on the wood top, as it is unfinished. 3 coats and it feels like a real countertop5
Would buy againronniesuI like the look of this cart. I did not use the casters. It’s easier to put together if you have a second pair of hands .5
Nice looking and sturdy!Gstar DesignedPurchased this as a utilitarian design element for my sons new house. He loves it and uses it daily. The wheels are quite convenient for mobility as a prep island in the kitchen to serving cart wheeled out to the living room for a party! Excellent price as well5
This is perfect for our kitchen.ktes750We have been using this daily for the last couple of months as additional workspace in our small kitchen. We have very little counter space and the combination of storage and work space is perfect. It's a good size - not too small - for working on baking projects.5

The strongest storage we’ve made so far

Does your garage sometimes feel like a lost civilization? Pyramids of paint cans grouped around the car, sports equipment you can’t remember even using and forgotten hobbies in boxes stacked high. IKEA product developer Lina Ringefelt wanted to help out. The outcome: the heavy-duty BROR storage system.

Lina and her team researched peoples’ garage needs and found that there’s an interest in everything from full-on hobby rooms, to a place to pot plants and work on cars, as well as storage for everything from heavy power tools to seasonal equipment. Many people also want lockable, closed and open storage that could hold very heavy loads.

Creating very strong storage

“I was inspired by classic industrial furniture typically used in workshops during the 50’s, as well as Meccano, to create the design,“ Lina says. “The idea was to create these beautiful storage units that have double the weight carrying capacity of any other shelves we were making at the time.” Engineer Philip Nedergaard made sure that the design held true to the heavy-duty ambition. “We built some of what we call ‘worst-case scenarios’ by loading the shelves high with concrete bags to really test that the shelves could safely hold almost anything you would want to keep in a garage,“ he says.

Combining good looks and practicality

The result is an adjustable series of shelving units with closed and open storage, including a trolley that serves as a movable shelf and workstation. But perhaps the series biggest calling card is its combination of looks and function. BROR could definitely be used in the home too.

A real tough one

BROR storage system can withstand a lot. The widest and deepest shelves actually hold 285 lbs. and the smallest shelves can hold 154 lbs. This means that you can store both tires and heavy flower pots without problems. We know this since we tested the storage system by filling the shelves with concrete bags – all to ensure that they can safely hold almost anything you can imagine storing, regardless if the surroundings are tropically moist or dry and freezing cold.
