What materials are the stuffed animals at IKEA made of?

Most of our stuffed animals are made from polyester, including more sustainable recycled polyester. All of our stuffed animals are free from harmful substances. Please review the product details of your favorite stuffed animal for more information about the materials for that specific design.

It is also worth noting that our stuffed animals feature embroidered eyes instead of beads, buttons or other plastic attachments. We started using embroidered eyes as a safety feature in the late 1990s, and found it also improved the design! We think the embroidered eyes give our plushies a livelier expression.
