All rolls are too big.MatthewI don't know if this is a uniquely American problem, but I have yet to find a paper towel roll small enough to work with this holder. The rolls can't, well, roll, so you can't dispense paper towels without removing the roll from the holder.
Doesn't spinCandaceI don't like it! The roll won't move or spin around. The paper towels are always stuck and it is super frustrating trying to get them off when my hands are wet. I will have to buy a different holder to replace this one. Don't buy!
Do not use with larger sized rollsLorindaIf using a larger sized paper towel roll, the holding bar wedges the roll in place & will not allow the roll to easily spin/rotate.
Didn’t WorkoutJessicaThis was a much needed paper towel holder for a new island. The island has a top shelf to which the holder fit for a horizontal shelf position. At first use , with a quarter used roll it was working fine, then following week , started a new roll and the Members Mark brand paper towels wouldn’t move . The roll was too large for the holder in a horizontal position. I tried HEB brand, as well as the Bounty select a size roll and ran into the same issue and still had the same issue.

Good but a little smallJaclynI bought this to put in my bathroom on the counter for when we have a lot of guests over. It does a good job, but it’s a bit small and you can’t fit a Costco size roll of paper towels.
Not for American paper towelsAshleyI was very excited to put this neat holder on the counter! Normally the towels are hidden or end up sitting on the counter before being put away again... The holder is ideal but the arm to help separate the paper towel and tear is not a standard size.

Love the look, but it's built for small rollsDavidThe quality and design of this is just great, but we pretty much exclusively use Kirkland brand paper towels and the rolls are too thick to spin on the holder. That means we have to lift up the roll ever time we want some towels and then put it back. Kind of defeats the purpose. Still, it works well and looks good and as the roll gets thinner it works better. Just something I didn't know before I bought it.

Decent for the priceTylynI got this to clip under a kitchen cabinet so I didn't have to drill and it would be easily removable. It doesn't hold a jumbo roll of paper towels well (hard to tear sheets off at the beginning of the roll) and it sticks out from the cabinet more than expected, but it's still convenient and well made at a good price point. Does the job.
