What delivery options does IKEA offer?

IKEA offers Home Delivery via Transport Service, Small Deliveries (via DPD), Click & Collect, or pickup at a collection point (fixed, mobile, or IKEA locker). Home Delivery includes the options “doorstep delivery” and “transport service delivery.” The Small Deliveries service is suitable for items that can be shipped via DPD, while Click & Collect and collection points allow you to pick up your order at a more convenient location.

  1. Home delivery: This option brings your order directly to your address.
    a. Delivery to the door: Your items are delivered to the main door of your chosen delivery address. If the chosen address is in a building, the team will leave the goods at the entrance of the apartment.
    b. Home delivery: This service is suitable for larger orders, where the goods are left in a room of your choice.
  2. Small deliveries: Suitable for smaller orders such as accessories or furnishing items weighing up to 60 kg. The delivery date indicated is an estimate. We expect to deliver between 3 to 7 days in mainland Portugal, 6 to 10 days in Madeira and the Azores, or up to 6 weeks for made-to-order sofa covers.
  3. Click & Collect: Click & Collect allows you to pick up your order at IKEA flagship stores. Once your order is ready for pickup, you will receive an SMS or email with instructions on how and where to pick it up.
You must present a photo ID and proof of purchase. If someone is picking up the order on your behalf, they must bring the original order confirmation or invoice, as well as an ID. If you are unable to pick up the order, it will be stored until 3 days after the scheduled collection date.
  4. Fixed collection points: This service allows you to pick up your order at an IKEA collection point that is most convenient for you. Once the order is ready, you will receive an SMS or email with instructions on how and where to pick it up. You must present a photo ID and proof of purchase. If someone else picks up the order on your behalf, you must present the original order confirmation or the invoice and identification document. You have up to 72 hours to collect the order after that date.
  5. Mobile collection point - It saves you time by meeting a driver at one of the designated locations. When you place your order at IKEA, you can choose the most convenient date and time from the list provided. Then, you must meet the driver at the place and time chosen to collect your order.
  6. Cacifos IKEA: Shop online and collect your order from an IKEA locker that is convenient for you. Select 'Collect at an IKEA locker' before completing your payment and pick up your order on the chosen date and time slot. You will receive an access code by SMS or email as soon as your order is ready, and you will have 24 hours to collect it.
