I want to know the properties of tempered glass products.

Tempered glass has a carrying capacity that is around five times higher than regular glass, which makes the glass more durable and extra resistant to impact.

However, tempered glass may as any other glass, shatter if exposed to knocks, strikes or scratches, even if the shattered pieces are rarely sharp. That’s why it is out most important to always handle glass cups with care. IKEA reminds that our products are designed for domestic use only, please do not use it in public.
