Used for vinyl collectionAnonymous reviewerAlready had a a besta tv unit so added this on to the end for my vinyl collection retrieved from the loft. Shame there’s no dividers available to hold the records up. Matches existing unit so blends in well.
BestaAnonymous reviewerGood quality and sturdy furniture, easy to build and looks great
Great cabinet, but...Anonymous reviewerCabinet is well made, but poorly designed! It is not rigid, and the back panel is loose in the slots and does not hold it rigid. I needed to fit steel corner brackets at the back to make the cabinet sold.
Bests unitAnonymous reviewerExcellent product to Crete a media unit, relatively easy to put together. You do need to take into account clearance for any rugs. The door hinges were a little tricky the supplied diagram wasn’t very clear but once I googled how they worked and how to attach them they worked a treat.
Actually the Frame is ok but everything else is shoddy!!Anonymous reviewerThese are a nightmare to put together with the drawers and cupboards. I wish I'd paid for Ikea to do it so that I could be more positive. The push in drawers don't shut properly and are horrific to put together and in the unit.
Cheap and unstable Anonymous reviewerCheaply made and very unstable.
Good quality Anonymous reviewerThis was well made, packed and delivered
Lower framesAnonymous reviewerGood useful unit base
Top small framesAnonymous reviewerGod , useful units
UnitAnonymous reviewerdoes exactly what we wanted them for
Very flimsyAnonymous reviewerEasy to break. Damaged to frame while trying to assemble it!
Cheaper quality Anonymous reviewerThe quality has definitely gone downhill as the paper foil on the side of my cabinet bulge up after a few months.
Handy Shelving Option to Create Interesting Besta Units or Stand Alone Book StorageAnonymous reviewerThis unit can be used to create a bit of 3D interest in an otherwise flat Besta shelving unit, can be used in uneven walls areas to create a flat front on a large shelving area, or as I have done it makes a nice standalone mid-level row of book storage. These have crept up in price recently but are still OK value - its does get pricey when adding shelves though or even more-so with doors. Typically good quality, but I have found the finishing on the laminate is occasionally a little questionable on more recent purchases - a bit of white filler helped.
Besta frame beautiful colour Anonymous reviewerBesta frame beautiful colour. I combined with a white door and looks beautiful on my entryway.
Sturdy!Anonymous reviewerSturdy and well made for the perfect unit look
Great!Anonymous reviewerExcellent product to create the perfect unit for your home
Would recommend Anonymous reviewerGreat furniture which you can mould together to create the unit you like
Simple and timelessAnonymous reviewerAmazing value and matches previous Besta pieces bought 10 years ago.
V. GOOD Anonymous reviewerbetter delivery, policy and pricing structure.
I LOVE THIS UNIT!Anonymous reviewerI got the black frame with the oak veneer doors and finished it all with the black glass panel. It looks stunning and has lots of storage capacity. People are complaining about not being able to line the doors up, but you can, with patience! You just need to keep tweaking the hinges until everything lines up. I loved this one so much I got a bigger one for my dining area. They both look fantastic for the price. Ikea comes up trumps yet again for quality and price. Couldn't be happier.

Material
What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
