This 10 cm thick and 3-part mattress grows with your child and the extendable bed. Reversible with 2 different surfaces – one side is egg-shaped and medium-firm, the other is smooth and firmer.

The cover is easy to remove and is machine washable at 100°F (Warm).

Child-safe zipper prevents children from opening the cover.

Your child can choose the comfort they prefer since the polyurethane foam has two different surfaces. The egg-shaped pattern has a medium-firm comfort, and the smooth side has a firmer comfort.

One mattress ‒ three lengths. With the help of the 2 extendable parts, the mattress can grow with your child, from 47" to 61" or 74¾".

    Wash the cover inside out with the zipper closed.

    The short pieces are easily added to the foot of the bed as your child grows.

    This mattress consists of 3 pieces and all come together in the same package.

    LEN fitted sheet is available in 2 sizes: One fits a mattress for an extendable bed without extension parts (97x120 cm) and one fits a mattress for an extendable bed with 1 extension part (97x155 cm).

VIMSIG extendable mattressTracyNot quite a 5 star review because this item could be improved. It's quite good as it is, seems to be comfortable for the wee lass, and decent quality. However, Ikea always has to be different, and they've done it again with this product and their adjustable beds, where they are a completely different size than a crib mattress, so that you can't use your crib mattress with the smallest adjustment of their beds. You are stuck buying this mattress (or the more expensive spring coil version). So, if you are going to be stuck, let's make this mattress perfect. It should be covered in not only a washable cover, but a waterproof cover. And, the sections need to actually attach to each other with a velcro flange. Right now the bed is very hard to make because when you tuck the bed linens under the mattress it comes apart where the two or three pieces meet. Otherwise, I love the concept, and the vacuum packaging that makes it less expensive to ship.4

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

This 4" thick mattress has two different surfaces ‒ one egg-shaped side with medium-firm comfort and one smooth side which is firmer. The texture of the foam makes the mattress comfortable and well-ventilated, which provides good support and a pleasant sleeping environment for your child. The cover can be removed and machine washed at 100°F.
