Not firmMariaEven though we purchased the "firm" option, it's not firm at all. Soon as you lie down on it, it gives under your weight. Wish I could return it but the logistics are difficult as we don't have an IKEA nearby and transporting the mattress isn't exactly easy..2

Not a firm mattress HananWe tried this in the store and it felt a lot more firm than when we got it home. We left it for over a week to expand after releasing it from roll but no such luck. Can’t sleep on it because it sinks down to the slats- very uncomfortable. Will be returning it! 1

Not as firmMonicaI don’t usually give reviews but thought I’d write one for this as I was really disappointed at how this mattress turned out. Like what others have been saying, this is not really firm. I’ve been using this for about 2 months now and I wake up with lower back pain everyday so now, I have to buy a mattress topper just to make my bed comfortable. Hopefully Ikea makes a better “firm” mattress.2
Not firm at all, avoid if you have back painKaitlynThis is not a medium-firm mattress. I let it sit for 72 hours before using, and it was so saggy I could not lay on it even for one night, I had to get up and sleep on the floor. If you have any back pain, avoid at all costs. Very disappointed and returned.1

Ok as a temporary solution AshleyWe purchased this mattress in firm for our cottage. It’s convenient that it comes rolled and was easy to open and expanded fast. I found there was a minimal amount of off-gassing, not as much as I expected. The firm mattress is definitely not very firm but I was warned about that. I find it sinks easily at the middle and especially sinks when two people are on it. It’s fine as a cottage mattress to be used a few weeks a year but I wouldn’t recommend it for daily use. If it wasn’t such a hastle to return it I probably would try something else. 3

worth it AshleyThis is the first mattress I've ever bought and I researched this so much and I'm happy with my choice. The mattress is appropriately thick and the outside is a quality material. To my knowledge, there is no fibreglass used in this mattress. With the delivery service, which was significantly extra (!!!), the set up was very easy and the mattress was immediately ready to use. It did not have any strong smell. It is firm and comfortable. I cannot speak to longevity.5

This mattress is great for how inexpensive it is. We got a couple for spare bedrooms and they are firm but really comfortable. Very supportive and can't feel the movements of my partner thrashing around that much :)

The comfort zones of our mattresses are simply zones that support your body in different ways to keep your spine aligned and create a good a sleeping position. Slightly softer springs around the hip and shoulder, so they can sink softly into the mattress. And slightly firmer springs where, on the contrary, support is needed – such as for the legs and ankles. The overall effect is that your body does not have to work to find a comfortable position. Just relax and sleep well.
